Hi all,

I built a b2e site locally (using WAMP), backed up the completed site and restored it to a new domain online.

Everything worked except for pages, all of which gave an "Invalid request. Sorry, there is nothing to display..." error. Even the short links for the pages gave the same error.

NOTE: Posts and categories were fine.

I tried clearing caches (b2e and browser), no change. I tried republishing, no change. And tried changing the slug, also no change.

So I then created a new page as a test, and that worked OK.

I mostly resolved this by going through each page and setting 'update to now' and republishing. Most pages then appeared. Except for 1 stubborn page I could not get to appear, and in the end had to recreate the page and delete the original.

Hopefully that proves useful :-)

Hi,
the system requirements are ok on the new server?
And did you changed the root base in the config file resp. create a new one on the new server?

I haven't dug under the hood, but surely those things would also affect the homepage, posts and categories too - only pages were affected (all pages, but nothing else).

Can you check / remember the Issue date of those pages before you change then to "Update to now"? http://b2evolution.net/man/expert-edit-screen ( Properties )

Ah, good thinking. That could be it - server time vs local time (my timezone is ahead of the server time). So it's possible the pages were future dated once uploaded and therefore didn't appear (yet). Although wouldn't that also apply to the posts?
