How do I set up a forum to look like this one?

I want to set up a forum similar to this one.

Where you have category headings, and then specific forums in them.

And then people can open new threads under the topic, not the main page.

How does one do this, or find a guide to how to set up the forums.

I have tried everything I can think of, but nothing is similar.

Just install b2evolution version 5 and you'll have a demo forum installed by default.

Are you already using an older version? If so you need to upgrade.

I have 5.2.1

I hired someone to help me, and he screwed up a lot of stuff, and I am having to figure it out as I go and fix things now.

The site is www.karkihealth.com.

I know it has to be a structure thing, and I must just be choosing the wrong options. I like how this forum has categories, then a menu of locked topics, and then you can make new threads under a category.

Hi,
If your b2evolution version is less than version 5, you need to upgrade.
If you're running a version 5.x, then you just have to add a new blog (Tab: DASHBOARD / Sub-tab: GLOBAL. The button to create a new blog is on the extreme right side of your screen).
Then, you can choose the type of blog you want: choose FORUM in the list.
I know that the term "blog" is confusing, but that's the right thing to do!
