My b2evolution Version: Not Entered

Hi is there any way in which i can control the number of posts shown on my archive pages?

I have the backoffice set to show 5 posts per page, but this doesn't seem to apply to archive pages.

I would like to, when i for example click on the archive for february, to show only 5 posts and then provide a "previous posts" link or similar at the bottom.

Is that possible?
