Heya, since you've been doing this for some time maybe you can answer a cpl questions..

You start with avi's, yes? Do you optimize them before you convert them over to flash? If so what do you recommend?

I have an avi from today, that weighs in at roughly 54 MB. I think I need to edit it, or do something :P before I put it up on my site

lol! what fun! Ive managed to add a little music, and have encoded it into a .flv file.

I think I might have created a monster. :)
