Hi.
I'm a french speaking canadian bloguer, and I don't really like my posts to be identified as being fr-FR, as they are more fr-CA. Any hint how I can change this? It's particularly annoying since on certain skins it displays the flag of France. I'd rather like a small "fr" instead of a flag. Flags aren't a good symbol for a language.

Any help and toughts welcomed.

In the backoffice go to settings then regional and add a locale for Canadian French.

Hi, Thanks for your anser. I managed to make it work by modyfing the /conf/_locales.php. There is no button to apply the changes I make in the settings sections (general/regional/plugins) and I don't see how I could create a new section from there. Any ideas?

You just don't have the right to edit the locales apparently. Check group rights.

Next release "Berlin" will have fr-CA preconfigured, with flag and everything.

PLease send me all locale config for nl-BE then.

the only different with nl-NL is

'datefmt' => 'd/m/y',
'messages' => 'nl_BE',

for the rest : it is an exact copy of the nl-NL
I only did it for the flag.

I was trying to do the changes as a priviledge blogger. Did it as Admin and had the options.
