My b2evolution Version: 2.x

Hi - I want to be able to show on the first page of my blog the text "Latest Blogs" and on the following pages "'Current page' of 'Total number of pages in blog'" e.g. page 2 and 4.

How do I do this? Any help would be appreciated.
