My b2evolution Version: 1.10.x

I am getting a lot of trackback spam, without exception from .info domains, and getting sick of deleting it.

I have checked the "Check referrers for URL" checkbox in the Basic Antispam plugin, thinking that this would cause a test to be done on any trackback that the URL of my post was actually in the supposed referring page, but it doesn't seem to do that.

Can someone point me to where I can hack the trackback function so that it does do this - go out to the supposed referring page for the trackback and check that it actually does contain a link to my post?

Alternatively, are there any drawbacks to simply blacklisting .info?

Thanks.

Thanks, Austriaco, I've installed it and will see how it goes. Looking at your code I may be able to work out how to do what I want if it doesn't work for me.

My suspicion is that the basic plugin may not be doing this already on my site because I don't have fopen URL support. I'd have to look in the code, though.
