Howdy!

There used to be a hack that offered a form email link, but it disappeared in the unfortunate hack-attack recently. Though it would not be a 'private' comment it would have offered a method of offering direct contact with the post author.

I do not have that hack handy even though I use it. If you're desperate for this feature I can try to dig out a publishable version. Otherwise I see in the CVS version that a similar (and probably better) version is in the works.

Maybe someone else reading this has the "email the author" hack handy?

not desprate and more then willing to wait for the next version to come out off CVS if its included.

it's just a mere annoyance currently. But i'm glad to hear that feature is being encorporated.
