I've used regular b2 before now, and I've just switched over. I just want my blog to have seperate name/date/time and content/comment tables. I've tried adapting my old templates, but the tables don't show at all, and my main blog isn't recognizing my CSS file. I would really like how to make this simple and easy, and have it look like the old b2!

thanks.

Are tables really that important? I mean, if you want your b2evolution blog to look like the old b2 why not use the 'originalb2' skin?

If you really want tables you can do it, but you'll have to hack your conf/_formatting.php file to allow tables in your posts. Search the forums for a few key words (post table formatting etcetera) and click the radio button for "search for all words". Or maybe just hack a skin to put the bits inside a table if that's your goal. Seems from the link provided that's all you want to do, but you've hacked away w-a-y more than you need to.

BTW it's "b2evolution". b2 is a long-dead ancestor.

well it's not an independant blog--it's part of my website so the tables are really just aesthetics, but they're nice.

I was able to fiddle around and get something to work though, thanks anyways!
