Hello,

I got your site info from a referral.
There are several things I need done quickly and I am not techincal at all.

what it is I am looking for and I think this blog might serve my purpose but I am not technical enough to install/upload it.
I need

* Individually designed blog pages
* Forum
* Shopping cart

I have volunteered to be the PR Rep for a documentary that will soon be
released. It was filmed by the non-profit, Texas Filmmakers, with a grant
and is being promoted nationwide. The film, Broken Silence, is about
childhood sexual assault and seeks to raise awareness of this plague through education by encouraging survivors to speak out and seek healing. I have been working to put together a site at http://www.SurvivorSpace.com
<http://www.survivorspace.com/>

The site will promote the film, and will have a forum where hopefully,
survivors of childhood sexual assault, or any person who has been affected by violence, can feel safe enough to work out some issues. I want to let each person have their own blog on the site too, but don't quite know how to do that.
I want the blogs to be configured in a certain way. First, I have
to be able to control the free space on the blog page. It needs to have
resource there on the page, next I need to be able to rotate ads for items
on each page. As an example see:

For an idea of the pages –

I have built a website and will pay to host it with one of my providers when it is completed, but the site needs a couple of things I do not know how to do.
To facilitate dialogue I need a forum. I think I can get one from my web host provider, but then the biggest thing is making individual blog pages
available to those who come to the site. I would like each person to be able to customize their blog page to reflect who they are, kind of like on Yahoo 360. Let them choose the font, font color, background color, scenery, buttons, all of that.

The resources information needs to be accessible because as they blog or
write on the forum they may go into crisis. I need to be able to place ads
on the page to raise funds. The plan is to promote the film around the country by doing speaking engagements and promoting the film (which will only cost $15 for educational institutions and other non-profits) but there is no budget for that. SO – money will have to come from the site. I will have to have a shopping cart and be able to check out with PayPal online – which I think I can manage on my own (I hope).

The film has been discussed on the Montel Williams Show twice already and we are arranging a show with Oprah and local media round the country too. I REALLY NEED this site up and functional by the middle of April for our premier showing and so as people come to visit the site they can become part of the healing/contributing survivor community.

I have no budget for this type of development.
BUT – Since we are being promoted by local TV, radio, and newspapers
nationwide (also in parts of Canada) there would be fantastic exposure and we will have a wide audience. You would be welcome to put a logo or by-line on each page of any material you develop for us and we would post you prominently on our thank you page, which every person signing in would see.

I know I am asking a lot, but children deserve a chance at a normal life and those who were victims as children and won’t seek therapy, need a place to seek solace and heal. Our group would greatly appreciate any help you could give us with this.

Thank you for your consideration. I look forward to hearing from you as soon
as possible.
Sincerely,
Lynnette Nadeau
PR Representative
