I'm using b2e 1.8.
In Blog Settings / Advanced / Media Dir Location - I've opted for 'sub directory of media folder' option and the value entered is ".../public_html/blog/media/2006". "2006" being the value I entered. This directory does exist.
When at the 'Write' page, selecting 'Upload' a file management window opens. The receiving folder to upload files to is fixed at my user name, 'Steve'.
This is not what I want. I want all images to be uploaded to "media/2006". Is there another setting somewhere to adjust this?
Any help would be appreciated.

Here's what I did :-
In admin > blogs > advanced ticked subdir of media and entered test (this folder did exists, but I deleted it to see what would happen)
Admin > write > upload , got a message "folder ....../media/test created ....."
In the list of folders there wasn't one called test, but there was one called <blogname>, so I ticked it, and uploaded ...... and guess where it went ;)
Tad confusing since I was expecting "test" to be in the list, but at least the pic knew where it was going :p
