Some basic help with Posting

Using newest STABLE version.
Ok, I have looked thru the forums and just cannot find my basic answer. I have created a BLOG and given a Group IS Member access. From my understanding they should be able to post a message to the blog. (Not a comment to a blog, but START a message within this BLOG). When the go to the blog page, they can then login. Do they have to login thru the BACKOFFICE to post a message, OR, is there a POST A MESSAGE link I can add to the template?

Please advise. I want this to be very simple. People must register, but once registered can post messages to the Blog. Maybe I am looking at this the wrong way? Does it sound like I need a forum rather than a blog?

I am having the same problem, I don't know were to direct the user to place a new post.

I am too also having the same exact problem. I've got "Visible Link to Admin" or whatever checked. That puts the link called "admin" on my page, but it's not too user-friendly.
Maybe some nice mod will hear our pleas. ;)
