I found a couple of references to Invlaid URL in the B2 forums, but nothing similar to my problem.

I am writing a New Post in one of my blogs, and am including links to relevant information. When I click the Preview Button, I get the following:

INVALID POST, PLEASE CORRECT THESE ERRORS:

* Found invalid URL: Invalid URL
* Found invalid URL: Invalid URL

The links I am trying to use are:

<a href="http://www.10zenmonkeys.com/2006/11/01/eff-crook-dmca-lawsuit/">10 Zen Monkeys</a>
<a href="http://www.theregister.co.uk/2006/11/04/eff_fights_bogus_dmca_case/">The Register</a>

Thank you for your assistance.[/url]

They work on the demo (I've tested it with 1.8.5, to be released soon). So an upgrade should fix it.

On the other hand, it also works with the 1.8.2 released version on the demo site.

Strange. Don't know..

Have you tried just those links?

It could be that you've got parts of those URLs in your local copy of the antispam table. Depending on your version you can filter your antispam keyword list to see if that's the case.

I will check the debugging and the Spam filters.

I will try making a post with just a simple url or something to test also.

I will report back if I find out what it was! thank's again for the all the support.

DUH....I am really sorry for wasting your guys time...I totally didn't see the problem!

I had those 2 URL's at the top and assumed they were the problem being so long and full of slashes adn stuff, I didn't really get a good look at the two other URL's in the post to the front page of those respective websites in the first URL's....

Anyway, the problem turned out to be missing "http://" info from the tags...I don't think I wouldn't have found it with out the Debugging, that told me exactly where the problem was and I will use that from now on!

Thanks again....please laugh with me now...er...at me I guess! cheers!

I got bit by the same exact problem recently. Taking older stuff from a table-based web to a b2evolution-powered layout was the deal. ALL the links were betting on the baseurl setting, so previewing showed me multiple bad links. WTF??? Oh yeah: gotta be a full URL, so I did a bunch of find & replace. Took long enough but now all the old stuff that was in tables is now independent posts.
