Was working correctly, then within the last week, started giving mySQL errors.

What have you tried to solve the issue?
deleted and re-added users accessing the SQL server.

Description and Message

About a week ago, all the blogs on my site started showing the following when trying to access them:

MySQL error!

Error establishing a database connection!

(Access denied for user 'wwwtheco'@'localhost' (using password: YES))

1. Are you sure you have typed the correct user/password?
2. Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?
3. Are you sure that the database server is running?

I was unsure of this being a b2 problem at first, but the host provider has checked everything from their end and seems to think that this might be something with b2 (third party software).

The Host was aware of some malicious attacks on the site and decided to change the admin password for our cPanel access. I went through and deleted the MySQL user database for b2 and added a brand new one with the correct username and password for the host, and the problem still persists. I am hoping to get this working without losing all of the information contained within the blogs on the site.

Any help is greatly appreciated, and thanks in advance.
