My b2evolution Version: Not Entered

I have installed b3evolution but when I want to modify anything, like creating a new category, install a plugin or a skin I get a "Incapaz de determinar la dirección IP a partir del nombre de la máquina: admin.php
El programa dnsserver ha devuelto el siguiente mensaje:
Name Error: The domain name does not exist. "

Thanks

That's a weird one.

Make sure you're running the latest version of PHP.

I would also re-install b2evo.

You should also leave a link to your site so we can check it out.

Si necesitas mas ayuda, dejaisme un mensaje aqui. Tambien deja un link a tu sitio.

Suerte.

I have installed again and keep having the same problem.

Some tasks I want to perform like install plugins, install new skin, etc., instead of directing to http://mydomain.com//admin.php...action=new it does not consider my domain name and tries to connect to http://admin.php/?ctrl=skin&action=new and of course I get the server not found error.

It does direct correctly from the dashboard to the Administrative tasks levels.
But once I am inside the Adminstrative Task Level (it directs wrongly, no conisdering my domain name and jumping directlyu to http://admin.php/... etc.

My website is cartoonbusker.com

Thanks

b2evolution does not work on hostmonster.
Last week I installed b2evolution in my website www.cartoonbusker.com (which is still not working) and keep having the same problem.
When trying to do anything, like installing plugins, etc, when you click on a link, sometimes it directs the link correctly to http://cartoonbusker.com//admin.php.... and whatever the option is.
But most of the times it is directing to a wrong address http://admin.php... and whatever the option is, which of course gives me an error: SERVER NOT FOUND, since the program is skipping the domain name cartonbusker.com.
Because of that I cannot do anything (install plugins, delete blogs, install new skins, etc.).
The tech support person said that hostmoster needed to fix the script, but the issue has not been resolved as of today, May 22, 2008.
Has anybody been able yet to use b2evolution at hostmonster through their installation script?
Is there another way I can install it without having to wait for them to fix the script?
Thanks

I have unistalled and installed it many times.
Even the tech support form HOSTMONSTER.COM have tried himself and gave up.
He said it was a problem with their script.

CAN I INSTALL B2EVO WITHOUT USING THEIR SCRIPT?
IF SO... HOW?

THANKS

PROBLEM HAS BEEN SOLVED!!!

Thanks to the help of Fraçois Planque!

I want to register the solution here to help anybody who might encounter the same problem.

We created a subdirectory and installed b2evolution in this subdirectory. This way it works.

The only problem then is that the site cannot be accessed by typing www.mydomain.com, but www.mydomain.com/newsubdirectoy.

So what we did was to redirect when someone types www.mydomain.com to go to www.mydomain.com/newsubdirectoy.

We have now the minor inconvenience of having the newsubdirectoy showing in the address.

Also, the other blogs which we will eventually add will have the address www.mydomain.com/newsubdirectoy/newblog intead of www.mydomain/newblog.

Anyway, we can now work and hope that this little detail can be solved.
