Error messages when I try to post a new article

When I try to post a new article I get the following message. Also I cannot link nd ubload files:

An unexpected error has occurred!
If this error persists, please report it to the administrator.

I installed it from my host ipage. The version is b2evolution 4.0.5 – GPL License
©2001-2002.

This is a seriously outdated version. Feel free to complain to iPage about that.

Nevertheless something apparently went wrong. You may try again and it may work.

However I would recommend making a manual install of v5. It's not much more complicated than the auto install. It will work much better in the long run.
