My b2evolution Version: 1.9.x

Hey,
I'm a blogging newbie. I would like to change the linknames in my blog (index.php?blog=1&cat=16 really suxxx).
Is there any tutorial or plugin how I can make nice URLs via mod_rewrite? I don't like to try and error with the b2-code...
