I seem to get this error no matter what skin I choose for Blog1, though changing the skin on other blogs clears the errors and my cats show up. Any idea(s) how I can just clear them permanently?

If you can believe it, I fixed my problem. I just went into each category that was getting an error and hit the "update" button without making any changes and they all started to work correctly. Horrible answer, but there is the fix for anyone who has this problem in the future.
