My b2evolution Version: 2.x

I have a tweet button on my blog - http://jeyjoo.com/blog/blog1.php
The problem is that it does not count unless you insert the full URL.
Click tweet, the URL tweeted is abbreviated, the article is tweeted (which is good), but the actual acount Tweet count remains at 0.
Is there a work around for this?
