For some reason, even though I don't have the "Post called up by its URL title" radio button checked, I am still getting searches through google for things like this:
domainname/index.php?title=sunny_leone_added_to_party_like_a_porn_s&more=1&c=1&tb=1&pb=1

when I want google to find the pages like this:
domainname/index.php?p=91&more=1&c=1&tb=1&pb=1

the problem with the skin is, that when someone clicks on this link from google: domainname/index.php?title=sunny_leone_added_to_party_like_a_porn_s&more=1&c=1&tb=1&pb=1 they are getting a mysql error

ANYONE know why that might be? very annoying, because I can't fond where this problem woould be in the script ANYWHERE....and I am loosing tons of readers because of this, at least 40-100 searches a day from this format, and probably surfers just going back to google because they think my site is down

I wonder if you ever had the "Use extra-path info" box checked in your back office on the 'settings' tab? IF you had that checked when google decided to crawl you then that's what they have in their cache, and that's what they'll have until they re-index you.

Just a possibility...

that is not what I am asking...i did have that checked when google crawled me though, no question about it...then when I started seeing hits coming to those pages from google I started worrying because no matter what setting I had, it gave that mysql error

which brings me back to my original question...why is that mysql error coming up? all the settings are perfect and everything works perfectly, except that

I'm no expert, but it is either something you changed, or something about your host. Have you changed anything outside of the skins folder? If not it's highly unlikely that something you changed caused this issue. Thus if I was you I would be asking my host what the problem is. If you google that error you will see where it seems to be related to how the host handles certain queries. There is a note next to the checkbox that says "...if your host supports it...", so to my simple mind your host is part of any issue with clean urls. At any rate it's not a skin problem.

i will email my tech guy about it, but I am my own host...and I have never had this problem before with anything else on my servers

i will drop him a line though and see

this was the response:

This is the error I see...

MySQL error!
Access denied for user: 'root@localhost' (Using password: NO)(Errno=1045)

Is this the error you are seeing on your end too?

The problem is the software is trying to use the MySQL username root instead of your proper MySQL username. Unless I am missing something, this seems more like a software programming issue instead of a server issue.

so, it is obviously in the way the skin and software interact...i just can't figure out where....time go through each line of code one by one

if google crawled faster and more frequent like yahoo I wouldn't have to worry about it, but now all those pages from the first 1.5 months are cached for now...guess I will just wait til the next updated, should be this week or next

I finally noticed you removed the link to b2evolution. Kinda cheap eh? Using free software and expecting free help after removing the linkback? That's why I am removing your links from your first post and locking this thread.
