The fix seems to be to also allow "=" before any "?" or "#".

Bevor ich mir jetzt hier einen mit meinem Englisch abbreche:
Das Problem tritt sowohl im Image Tag als auch im normalen Link auf.
Scheint wohl an den Leerzeichen zu liegen. Wie kann ich das Problem lösen?
