My bad. I had a user email me and tell me the link didn't work, so I logged and tried it and it didn't work. After seeing your respose, I tried again, and now I think I remember putting in my display name rather than my username.
It worked fine this time using my correct login.

I cannot reproduce this, at least with my local develop setup, which should be in sync with CVS regarding this feature.
Are you getting the "A link to change your password has been sent to your email address." success message, but no email?
You'll have to make sure that you specify the right login name, as it will always say "successfully sent", to prevent guessing user names.
