fatal error with 1.8 antispam [fixed]

Got the latest build, replaced everything on my server, visited my antispam tab and asked for the latest update. Got this instead:

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /---path---/inc/MODEL/antispam/_antispam.funcs.php on line 196

I just get a blank screen for the Anti-Spam update in the latest CVS versions.

Blank screen == fatal error which does not get displayed.

Fixed that yesterday after I've found it in the demo site's error log.
