Integration with phpBB has been an idea flying around for a long time. But no one has bothered doing it yet.

Although Yabba and myself have also been flying around the idea of using b2evo as a forum system as well. But we don't have enough time to do it.

So you probably won't see any forum integration for a long time.

But yeh, it's just a minor inconvience for the users with having b2evo and a forum package seperate.

So a quick clarification; You can run b2evo and a forum package side by side, but they will not be integrated (e.g. use the same user information).
