I hope I'm just a dope--Problems with TinyMCe and YouTube

Hi, I am running 1.8.6 and I have uploaded the latest versions of the Youtube and TinyMCE plug ins and I cant get them to show up right on my back ofice interface.

Both show up as installed in my settings and the you tube button shows up under my write box...but when I click the you tube button nothing happens.

TinyMCE doesnt show up at all on my write box.

However, if I type the youtube tags directly into the write box I can get the videos to show, but the button doesnt work.

Any suggestions?

Any chance that Javascript is disabled or that there are Javascript errors?

If that does not solve it, please try it at the demo site. Both plugins are available at least for the 1.9 demo, ready to get installed.

Thanks for the response.

Nope, Javascript is enabled.

I can use the Youtube plugin in 1.86 demo.

I can use both plugins in the 1.9 demo.

Update.

I got the plug-ins to work.

Somehow, I had them unzipped with the wrong folder names. i.e. youtube_9.5 instead of just youtube_plugin.

CASE CLOSED.

They are both great applications by the way :D

Just for info: If you had unzipped them "just wrong", then they should not have been available for install at all.
