My b2evolution Version: 2.x

Hi everyone

I have just had a conversation with a user of my b2evo plugin twitterlution about the fact that it fires even when they have written a post with an issue date in the future. I thought this must be a bug at first but lucking at this a little deeper it seems that all pings are fired. Is this the desired behavior for posts that are set to display in the future? Pings are being sent out for a post that is not going to be displayed.

I just thought I would check if this was right or not?
