My b2evolution Version: 2.x

Hello, all:

I´m upgrading my b2 site from 1.10 to 2.4.5 (monument valley). I read the "upgrading skins" sticky and could accomplish the bigger challenges.

However, I cannot solve some minor things.
Please, if u can help me, here they are:

Site A: actual site (1.10.x): http://www.sobrenada.org
Site B: "test" site (2.4.5): http://cpanel.gragoata-mindnet.com.br/~sobrena/

1) There are tabs on the top of site B (home, contact, login). I did not find where I can remove them.
2) Favicon do not seem to be working on site B
3) The Search Box on site B has other search options (all words, etc). I want to remove them and let only the plain search field (as site A).

Bonus question: The TinyMCE plugin is not working properly on site B. When the Write Page is loading, I got the message "Compressed TinyMCE javascript could not be loaded. Check the "URL to TinyMCE" plugin setting." I already installed and reinstalled, checked the adreesses, everything is ok. Go figure.

Anybody? Thanks!
Sergio

Hi sobrenada,

1) Easiest is to remove the widgets (Blog settings -> Widgets) in the 'Menu' container. You can also remove the 'Menu' container in the skin.
2) favicon.ico in the root of your blog
3) Let me guess here: Go to Blog settings -> Widgets and edit the widget for the search. I believe there are settings for the options and I am too lazy to look for it myself ;)

Bonus: Did you install a recent version of the plugin? Can be found at http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=160495&package_id=211707 If problems persist please as in the topic for this plugin in the Plugin section of this forum (once again I am too lazy to look for that link myself).

Good luck

Hi afwas!

1) Worked! Thanks!
2) Not working. Don't know why. I've placed the favicon.ico on the root of almost all my folders :P and nothing... maybe is a server thing. I'll try other things.
3) Yeah, worked! Sorry for these "RTFM" questions...

Bonus: yeah, I did. I'm browsing the Plugins forum right now trying to find an answer. If I succeed, will post here.
Thanks again, dude.

Leave that favicon problem till you sorted out the final domain change for the blog.
