Just upgraded from 4.1.3 with hopes that recent disappearance of my jpg photos would be fixed. Not the case. I have no idea why some but not all of my photos are rendering as white frames with blue question marks. If I click on them, I see the photo in a modal window that pops up. None of my thumbnails in the Files listing are appearing, either. I went through the exercise of deleting a photo and uploading it again. At first, its thumbnail shows, but if I refresh the page we're back to a frame and a question mark. Same behavior on the Post -- at first the photo shows after newly linking it, but if I refresh or navigate to a different page and come back, the photo is gone and only a frame remains. This happens on Safari 6.02 on Mac OS 10.7.5, and on FFox the frames don't show at all. I'm hosted on NetworkSolutions. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Can you post a link to your blog?

Anybody got a clue about why my photos are not showing? Could something have changed at my host (NetworkSolutions)? I got nailed last March when they rev'd PHP and it killed B2E. I updated to 4.1.6 and still have the problem.

You can probably fix images by changing evocache directory prefix from . to _
Go to Files > Settings > and select "Use _evocache directories"

Thanks for the suggestion. Making the change to use "_evocache directories" did not change the behavior. It strikes me that there's some kind of caching problem, though. On both Safari and FF, I can upload a photo, see its thumbnail in the Files/Browse page, link it to my Post and see it in the Post preview after clicking Save, then finally after clicking "See" the post and photo appear perfectly. All I have to do is click Refresh on my browser (either one) and POOF, there goes the image. Nothing left but a frame on the Post and a question mark on the Files/Browse listing. I'd be grateful for another suggestion.
