[5.0.6] b2_sessions crashing MySQL

Could someone help us with debugging a problem with b2evolution 5.0.6.

At the moment our MySQL is crashing randomly. The MySQL log only shows that the crashing table is b2_sessions but nothing else.

What could be the next steps to isolate the problem?

PHP Version 5.3.3-7+squeeze14
MySQL version: 5.1.63-0+squeeze1

Hi @hypocrite,

Did you tried with Heavy DB maintenance (CHECK & OPTIMIZE). If not, go to System > Maintenance > Tools.

If the hardware is completely out of the table, then please just ignore this comment. I had a similar problem with sessions db tables using other software, at the end, it was related with energy fluctuations and faulty hard drives.

Had to empty the table completely. I wasn't able to reach the data with phpMyAdmin either.

Will have to monitor the situation.
