I have in my blog activated the threaded comments (Structure > BlogName > Features > Comments > Threaded comments). But this possibility only appears for admins/members.

I thought, it would be visible for all readers of the comment. Isn't it right? Have I forgot one setting?

Edit:
Same for the "Is this comment helpfull - thumb-up-icon - thumb-down-icon" line.

Hi @ednong,

You're right, those options are only available for logged in users.

I perfectly understand that the helpfulness vote capability should be granted only for logged in users, however, maybe the threaded comments could be available for anybody, even visitors.

Let's see what the developers say about that.

Regards!

Ouh,
I think, the threated thing should really be for everyone. I don't see any reason for its visibility only for logged in users.

The second thing: It would be nice to have the option to deactivate the "Is this reply helful" thing. I think, its good in a forum but not in a blog (most blogs, there are a few where it is a good thing, yes). Or better: deactivate for every post (like the render things I have in the "write" section).

And so it is now a feature request? ;)

Edit:
I have found the checkbox to deactivate the helpfullness thing. But this is global for the blog, I think, it would better to have the option for every post.

Well, it could make sense to control some features (as threaded comments, votes, etc) in a per-post context. However, I'm not sure about how far can this enhancement go, basically because is an extra level of complexity. Maybe this is a perfect idea for a third-party plugin, but let's propose it and see what the people think about it.

Regards!
