ReCaptcha plugin I think they meant. I had the same issue: solution, turn off ajax forms in the advanced settings of the blog. And page cache needs to be turned off too, since they are now linked together.

That was my problem too.
I should have checked this but thought that I had disabled AJAX already because it worked before the update.

I think with the new upgrade it switches back on, if you have the page cache turned on; again, they're now linked so if the page cache was turned on then the ajax form would be reset to on as well.
