Installation problems

I installed the version 6.6.2 today.

I have several problems .
When I login to the site I get messages "_evocache folder read/write error! Check filesystem permission

I changed mod the /medi folder and all its subfolders already to 0777.

What else can I try ??

You probably need to change the perms of ALL subfolders of the media folder, recursively.

That's what I did chmod -R 777 /media

Never seen this before. Who is your web host? They may have a background task to change your permissions back to something more safe.

In that case you need to fix the owner/group of the media folders.

Can you post a screenshot of the error messages (showing context of exactly where they appear) to see if we can reverse engineer what triggers them?
