[4.1.6]I have a new install, with 2 blogs, sharing the same skin. Each blog has one category. When I have a single post in blog1, it appears only in blog1. When I create a post in blog 2, it also appears in blog1. It is the same post - if I deprecate it in blog 2, it is also deprecated in blog1.

I feel I have probably switched something on or off - what would cause this behaviour? Categories are not shared between blogs.

Created a second post in blog2, and it appears in blog1 also.

Apologies for double post. I thought I was editing the first.

Are the titles of your blogs different? (otherwise you might as well be looking at the same blog through 2 different URLs)

What are the categories for each blog?

blog1 title 'index', category 'index'.

blog2 title 'About', category 'about'.

Ah. But 'Index' was originally called 'About'. Perhaps there's some residue. I checked the obvious places, but something left in the database - is that possible?

Very weird. No it doesn't sounds "possible" ;)

You might want to check the category ID of your categories (appears in the URL when you edit them) They should definitely be different.

You migth also want to check in the advanced properties fo your blogs if they are set up to aggregate the other blog.

Would you look at that! An asterisk in 'Blogs to aggregate' for blog1. Where indeed all blogs were aggregating.

How astute of me to do that.

Thanks so much for the pointer. Much appreciated.
