When trying to generate a static page for a blog that has been configured with an absolute url, I get the following:

    * File cannot be written!
    *

      You should check the file permissions for [/var/opt/b2evolution-1.8.5/blogs/http://example.com/blog/example.html]. See online manual on file permissions.

If I create that directory manually then it will write to it, but it doesn't seem to attempt to create the directory.

Also, would it be possible to not force that to be under the blog installation? It currently forces the owner of example.com to link to blogs.hostingprovider.com for the static site. I'd prefer if I could put an absolute path for the static page as well so it could be dropped into the example.com web directory.

Thoughts?

Thanks,
