Is there a reason why you don't upgrade to 1.8.6 ?
1.8.2 is not a secure version !
And besides that, a lot of little bugs have gone fixed.. perhalps also this (I don't know for sure)

Check your skins files, they should all have a line that reads like this near the top of them :-

if( !defined('EVO_MAIN_INIT') ) die( 'Please, do not access this page directly.' );

The chances are that your _profile.php has the old code ;)
