I found the problem. In upgrading from b2 v 0.9.1 to 1.9.2 the upgrade added and EXTRA space to some post dates so that when you edited the post in question you got the infamous invalid date range message. Deleting the extra space solves the problem. Someone needs to change that upgrade script I guess.
Ex: A post I was editing was dated May 12, 2006. There was an extra space between the month and day.
NOTE: So far the extra spaces only seem to be added in May months

the problem is in "/inc/_vars.inc.php"
on line 217 there is an extra space after may -> "May "
it should be "May"
I'm using 1.9.2 and have the same problems. In scanning the boards, all solutions they point to do not work when I try them. I use long dates (F j, Y) in my locales setting, because I want the dates to display that way on my blog.
