Remove Registering

I have my own login system which matches a code sent out and therefor the requirement for login is not necessary however i want to keep the fact that users can post comments.

So anyway of removing registering?

Any help would be appreciated.

Hit admin > app settings and untick "new users can register" ;)

I still have it asking me for email e.t.c if im logged out and i removed where it says 1 or 0 in the main config for names and emails.

You'd still need to remove the fields from _feedback.php

That setting just means "not required" not "not displayed"
