None of my pings working

My b2evolution Version: Not Entered

Setup is almost done and my blog is basically working but my pings are not going through like they should:

Pinging b2evolution.net...
Remote error: Didn't receive 200 OK from remote server. (5)

Done.
Pinging Ping-O-Matic...
Remote error: Didn't receive 200 OK from remote server. (5)

Done.

Any ideas how to resolve this? Could it be a problem with my host?

Asked my host, apparently they disabled sockets due to abuse :(.

Thanks for letting us know! Hopefully I'll remember this answer for next time someone has a problem pinging and it's not a problem on the other side of the ping.
