Ask him or her if he accedenally deleted the file _popup.php in ../blogs/skins/ or the line:

$disp_pingbacks = 1;				// Display the pingbacks if requested

within that file.
If the owner of the blog wants to disable pingbacks he or she should set the value to zero (0) in the line above.

Hi, no its me who did the site. the popup.php is still there and I havent changed any code, just checked and all pings comments etc are 1.
