No, I'm not.
I'd like to create a horizontal navigation bar such as the menu bar, by using background colors and mouse over.
I have created a tet based one on my site http://crparr.net. Currently I'm using The Blog list, the Page list, the contact form and the login button.
But I'd like to set the links manually and give it a better design.
I'll also be creating my ohn theme, based on Informatif.
Thanks.

Do you have a link? A sketch of what you want? At least the name of the skin you are working with?
I'm afraid your question is to global to answer. Do have a look at an article in the FAQ about adding containers. You can modify one of the widgets to show the content you want.
Good luck

you are free to create it the way you want, a dhtml menu or a swf menu whatever, you can create and place it wherever you like it.. i still couldnt get what you are asking for , setting the links manually isn't that hard, as i have said previously, those blog, contact etc links are not variables, you can copy the link locations and use them somewhere else..cheers

The class of the current list is called top_menu top_menu_narrow so you can chenge it's style in the stylesheet.
You can add items to this list. The freeHTML widget is easiest, but you can also modify another widget.
To use the FreeHTML widget simply add one to the menubar with this content:
<li><a href="http://www.b2evolution.net">B2evolution</a></li>
Experiment with the content :)
Good luck
if you are talking about the sidebar, u can use the free html widget, or create whatever u want and insert to sidebar.php .. if its about anything else like "write a post" etc, the most of the links of the functions are not variables you can link to blog's sections or functions of it i guess.. just a suggestion.
