Error upon loading skins

My b2evolution Version: (1.10.2)

Hey, can someone please help me figure out how to fix this? I keep getting an error whenever i try to change the skin on my blog.

The default skin [vastitude] set for blog [Verbal] does not exist. It must be properly set in the blog properties or properly overriden in a stub file. Contact the webmaster...
An unexpected error has occured!
If this error persits, please report it to the administrator.

I've never used b2evolution before, and have no idea how to "properly set" so the skins will work.

I'll take a guess and say that you are using a 1.x skin for a 2.x blog, or the other way around, but probably the former. Your skin "generation" has to match your blog generation is the thing.

well i thought about that and checked, i had an older version. so i deleted the skins, did the upgrade of the forum, then got the newer versions of the skin i wanted...and still got the same message.

Im at my wit's end, sighs.

Did you uninstall the skin via your back office, or just delete it from your server?
