[2.x] Post had already pinged: skipping notifications...

My b2evolution Version: 2.x

Over many instances, specially when i change/save a post, after hitting save, i get a lot of the following!!!
is this an option that can go away? a bug? or just impatience on my part?

Each post pings once. So when you update a post it doesn't need to ping again ... and it tells you it already pinged so it is skipping notifications.

Do you mean that you get the same text lots of times, Michael? Does this happen every time? Is it the same number of lines?

I get the same text a multiple of times as i posted in the code, that fill a whole page.
This happens whenever i update/save a post.
It takes a full 2 minutes, then it goes away and all is well after that.
