My b2evolution Version: Not Entered

I am new to B2evolution so please be patient with me if I ask stupid questions.

I have just set up B2evolution on my website using the skin "postlog".
To get things started I have set myself up as admin and entered myself with different details as a user with blogger rights.

When I go in as a blogger and try to send an e mail to the person who posted the post ( i.e. admin) it comes up with an error saying a fatal error on line 134 of the main_index.php file.

Also when i try to set up a new category for posts I am not sure what I am supposed to put into the clean url box. All I know is everything I have tried is "invalid"...

I apologise if these are really basic questions that everyone else knows... but we all have to start somewhere.

1. What version of b2evolution are you using?
2. Please post the *exact* error messages.
3. Clean URLs: What did you enter, for example? Try something like a single word etc.

a) upgrade to 2.urmmmmmm 7? ... yeah, 2.7, it'll cure loads of your current ( and future problems )

b) your error is because the skin you're using isn't nade for 2.old ;)

c) glad 3) helped :D

1) your database
2) /conf/_basic_config.php
3) /media/ ( and all sub directories )
4) any custom plugins you've written

If you really want an *bugger me it's all gone tits up I need to get back to 2.old* ... make a copy of /public_html as well .... that's what I do ;)
