It sounds like your blog is functional if your admin users can post. This may be too obvious a solution for you not to have checked it, but do your other users have sufficient permissions to post to the blogs in question?

Just missed some settings ... as usual ;)

I've changed every setting including making surethey are members of the blog. My media folder is fine
I've checked every setting in the user group and in the user perms and still can not post under any user except priv user and admin.
I can make them prev but limiting the rights doesn't stop the ability to delete or change any post in the blog.
