My b2evolution Version: Not Entered
I'm trying to customise my own skin following the instructions found here http://manual.b2evolution.net/Create_a_new_skin but I can't even do the first step of copying the custom folder into a new folder...I keep getting the error msg that the folder can't be copied and when I try to create a folder "myskin" as instructed I get another error message...
Is there any other way that I can do it?
btw I'm using b2evo 3.3.1

Chances are the write-up is waaay out of date ... for evo 3.x copy /skins/[skin you like]/ to /skins/[your groovy name for skin yer about to break]/ then you need to meander into admin > global settings > skin install > install new skin
You'll also need to reload your skins ( admin > global settings > skin install > reload icon next to [your groovy name for skin yer about to kill] if you add/remove containers
