You can choose to sort your posts by order, like posts with order 5 go lower (or higher) than posts with order 3.
I never tried it, just guessing :)

For featured posts to work, you need a 3.x compatible skin.

Is evopress compatible with 3.x ?

All skins shipped with b2evo 3.x are obviously 3x-compatible ;)

I just did 2 test posts with post number 1 being featured and 2 being regular. #2 was still put on top. What am I doing wrong?

Are you using default b2evo 3.x skin?

I'm now using nonzero, it came pre-installed.
