[3.3.3] Real TagCloud fails when tag is accented or non-Engl

My b2evolution Version: 3.3.3

The plugin Real TagCloud works well except when the tag has a non-English character such as in Spanish (á, é, í, ó, ú, ñ).

Any ideas how to solve this?
