[4.0.3] search widget issue

My b2evolution Version: 4.0.3

My search widget only searches content of the current page. Is there a setting to control this?

could I get a link please?
I probably won't be able to help, but who knows. I don't think that should be happening.

A stock page comes up immediately, so a search on, say 'shiraz' will demonstrate.
