My blog is in Tamil language (ta_IN). I have made appropriate changes in the locale files and they are shown on the Settings/Regional page on the admin panel. My blog gets rendered on the browsers in Tamil without any problem.

But when I try to edit my Tamil blog using the editing text box, I am not able to see any Tamil characters. Instead they are shown as unicode HTML decimal codes like

& #3006; & #2992;

etc.(The space between "&" and "#" is intentional) This makes it difficult to edit my posts. I use a program to type in unicode and I am able to type in the New Post pane on the admin pages. It shows as Tamil characters without any problem. The problem occurs only when trying to edit the psots subsequently.

Please provide a solution to my problem.

Thanks.
