Selecting Global Settings gives a 500 Internal Server Error

In troubleshooting a cache issue, I unselected some of the check marks in the caching section of the Global Settings and hit save. It produced a 500 Internal Server Error, and now gives the same error every time I try to select the Global Settings menu item.

Version is 4.1.1. In Global Settings, once you hit Save on the General tab, you get the error. You can't go back to Global Settings without going into the database, opening the evo_users_usersettings table and deleting the pref_glob_settings_tab record for the logged in user. This will allow you to navigate all tabs in the Global Settings area. If you leave Global Settings while on any tab other the General and go to another section, when you come back you can view any tab but General. If you leave Global Settings while on the General tab, you can only get back into Global Settings by deleting the database entry as listed above.
